Safari Itinerary
Morning – Pick-up & Departure
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Watamu or Malindi and transfer you to the Watamu Marine Park. Board a traditional wooden dhow and set sail into the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
Mid-Morning – Snorkeling & Marine Exploration
Cruise through the Watamu Marine National Park, one of Kenya’s top marine reserves. Stop to snorkel among colorful coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. With a bit of luck, you may spot dolphins playing in the waves.
Late Morning – Sandbank Stop & Swimming
Enjoy some relaxing time on a stunning white sandbank, where you can swim, sunbathe, or simply soak in the tranquil coastal beauty.
Afternoon – Seafood Lunch on Mida Creek Island
Sail towards Mida Creek and land on a small island or beach restaurant for a delicious Swahili seafood lunch, featuring grilled fish, crab, prawns, coconut rice, and tropical fruits.
After Lunch – Mangrove Tour & Relaxation
Take a short boat ride through the scenic mangrove channels of Mida Creek, learning about the unique ecosystem and birdlife. Enjoy a final swim or just relax aboard the dhow as you sail back.
Evening – Return Transfer
Arrive back at the Watamu beach jetty in the late afternoon, where your driver will transfer you back to your hotel — ending your memorable Safari Blue adventure.
